Friends
Oh there is something so sweet and wonderful about seeing friends you haven't seen for a very long time. I went to a wedding reception in Kennewick for the daughter of Mike and Cammi Hayter (that's Raleigh's oldest brother for those who know him). I was so excited to go because I have such fond memories of Mike and Cammi from when I first married Jason. So I halted the receiving line to grab a picture with them.
And then who should I come across as I was trying to make a fast getaway, but my dear, wonderful friend Jordan. I knew her and Raleigh would be here for Christmas, but didn't expect to see her at the reception. Let me tell you it was so fun to hug her and get caught up. They've been too long away from the west coast. And Kellin and Erik (not sure on spelling) are so grown up! Oh, it was so much fun to see you Jordan. Yes, there is something sweet about seeing good friends.12.17.2010
Christmas Sleep Over
Emma's birthday is on Sunday and so she invited a friend over to spend the night. We decided it would be fun to camp out by the tree.

Magic Quilting Hands
We sort of dropped in on Grandma and Grandpa E unintentionally. We just forgot to call ahead. So Grandma E was working on Emma's birthday quilt when we arrived. Emma's so smart that it didn't take her long to figure out the quilt was for her. I can't wait to see it all done! Here's a picture of Grandma E and her most talented hands at work with Emma and Paul so interestedly looking on.

Holy Christmas Lights Batman!
We saw this really cool house all lit up as we were out and about tonight. Emma says, "I wish we could put lights on our house. Everyone else does." Well, we're just not everyone then.
