A Bike Parade and a Wedding on the 4th

We went to a bike parade and breakfast in the morning at the church.

We went to the wedding of a dear friend in Moses Lake
where we saw more dear friends.

(Yes, I really did look that washed out.)

We had a most amazing fireworks show and finale.
I'd have to say the best I've seen so far.

Bumper Bugs

So...we just washed our van and I worked really hard on cleaning the front bumper. Well it's not clean anymore. We sailed through a swarm of bugs coming up over the Vernita Bridge on the way home from Mattawa yesterday.


Benjamin was impressed with the bugs we collected.

Pinata Posse

We celebrated the 8th birthday and baptism of our cousin Trenton with a Transformers Pinata. It was great to see the kids take their swings. I think the two pulling the pinata up and down had the most fun.


My nephew Jordan and niece Jenna. Two of my faves...wait, they're all my faves.

Sod Sensation

We had so many helpers show up to help us lay our sod. It was hard work, but fun to be working together, talking and laughing as we went. We had donuts in the morning and pizza in the afternoon. There's no other way to host a day of work.
