Success at the Library

I have not ventured out to the library with all of my kiddos for a very, very long time. We had several tiring and troublesome trips to keep me away for awhile. We've been back twice in the last two weeks and it has been heaven. They have done great by whispering, choosing books, not running, and listening to me when I say it's time to go. And I have loved to have new book blood in the house. Now I can pack all of our books.

Here they are enjoying their books while I get dinner going. Happy kids...Happy mom!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Z!

We went to my brother's house for a hot dog roast in celebration of my dad's birthday. We had a blast!

My Mother's Day Tree

Jason went and picked out a tree for me and our new house. :) It's a dogwood.

Feel the vibrations

Lainey has learned to vibrate her lips, making an oh so wonderful sound. Emma was encouraging her and I thought I would try to capture it. They are a bit blurry, but they are so funny.

Walking on grass & Eating dirt

Lainey has found that she can actually walk on the grass and that dirt doesn't taste so bad. For a long time now she hasn't wanted to be put down on the grass; she would just stand paralyzed and cry. Now, she loves to roam around outside.

We're almost cooking!

We were so excited to see the kitchen cupboards in and counter tops. I wanted my kitchen to be light and bright when we were picking things out...I think we did a good job with matching everything up. Our appliances will be white to up with brightness.

They've also put in the bathroom cupboards and sinks.

Thumbs Up For Kindergarten Roundup

Paul was so cute at Kindergarten Roundup at his new school. He was all over the place and as comfortable as if we were at home or on our next adventure.

My baby isn't Feeling well...

It's no fun when any of your children get sick, but I especially hate it when it's your baby. They are just so helpless to express how they feel or do anything about it. I had her sit with Emma so I could clean up the sick mess and she fell asleep. Emma thought that was so cool!

Painted Exterior: Phew!

They painted the exterior of our house. Yeah! I was wanting to see how our color choices turned out. Phew! They look great!

They put the flooring in as well.

They painted the interior too.

They also hung and painted the trim.
